Barney’s most loyal customers will have access to their first private liquidation sale where Scott Carpenter stated:“Barneys is a cultural institution synonymous with high-end fashion, creative style and grace. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for its most loyal customers to buy items that rarely go on sale at markdown prices. We encourage shoppers to visit their nearest Barneys location to take advantage of this sale before this highly exclusive merchandise sells out,” said Scott Carpenter, President of Retail Solutions with Great American Group.

On Twitter, discussion from influencers went viral that PUBLIC with the public sale day and customers were not happy to see the discount was only up to 5% in the first few days of SALES.

Alexandra Mondalek, a feature writer published in Vogue, Bloomberg, and Business of Fashion to name a few tweeted that the employees at the downtown store confirmed with her the SALES are happening! They wouldn’t give her more details beyond and vaguely said“it starts tomorrow, but there’s no way they don’t let the public in I mean I’d be surprised.
